On June 18th, NOAA will hold a scientific workshop concerning NOAA Fisheries' review of 82 species of corals considered for listing under the Endangered Species Act (ESA). The purpose of the workshop is to provide opportunity for individual expert and public input on the science relevant to NOAA Fisheries’ decision concerning these corals.
The workshop will be held at the East-West Center, Honolulu, HI, June 18, 2012, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
There will be separate Listening Sessions to solicit additional information from the public at the Pagoda Hotel, Honolulu, Hawaii, June 25, 2012, 6:00 – 9:00 pm
